The Psychology Department at Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, PA invites applications for a tenure-track position beginning Fall Semester 2023. The department seeks a scholar with a background in developmental psychology with a lifespan perspective, broadly construed. Our hope is to attract a teacher-scholar engaged in developmental research that interfaces with psychopathology, health psychology, epidemiology, public health, individual differences, emotion, comparative psychology, or family systems.

The Psychology Department at Franklin & Marshall College has a long tradition of scholarly excellence, which is supported by outstanding facilities and its emphasis on student research and lab experience throughout the curriculum. The department is seated in the Natural Science Division of the College and is characterized by its strong commitment to teaching, advising, service, and departmental citizenship. For tenure and promotion, the successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active program of qualitative or quantitative research resulting in peer-reviewed publications. Start-up funds and lab space are available to support faculty success.
