Research Associate Job Opportunity in Cleveland, Ohio

The Swetland Center for Environmental Health within the Department of Population and Quantitative Health Science at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine has a Research Associate responsible for developing, maintaining, and disseminating quantitative and qualitative data from complex systems used for research and evaluation projects of the center. Successful candidates will have a minimum of 1 to 5 years of experience conducting applied population health research in non-clinical settings. Preference will be given to candidates with at least 1 year of experience developing study protocols and managing data systems for community-engaged mixed methods research.

The Candidate will have technical skills in 1) mixed methods research in non-clinical settings including primary data collection using quantitative and qualitative methods, 2) experience creating standardized operating procedures for population health research, 3) experience with IRB protocol development, 4) ability to run data queries and conduct simple analyses of quantitative data, and 5) ability to conduct qualitative data analyses to synthesize data and identify themes using a codebook.
