Summer Internship: Center for Educational Improvement

The Center for Educational Improvement is collaborating with others in Virginia to increase consciousness around racism, culture, inclusion, and the social emotional needs of youth, including how schools can be more supportive of youth. We are looking for 2-3 interns to support this work through helping with background research, writing articles and blogposts, preparing materials, and writing reports based on our work over the next few months.

Interns will receive mentoring and guidance from CEI, bylines for articles circulated to our database of over 4500 subscribers, and acknowledgments in upcoming publications. Skills with Canva, padlets, minimeters, and online breakout rooms, as well as conducting virtual focus groups, or grassroots organizing, will be helpful. Flexible time: we anticipate 4-10 hours a week, beginning in May. Please send resume and a cover letter to chrismason@edimprovement.org. Check out our website (edimprovement.org) for examples of our work.
