VISITING ASSISTANT PROFESSOR: University of Alabama at Birmingham

The Department of Psychology at The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) invites applications for a 9-month, full-time VISITING ASSISTANT PROFESSOR position for one academic year with the possible extension for a second year, to begin in August 2022. The teaching load for this position is four courses per semester. Teaching assignments will include social psychology, clinical psychology, and research methodology courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level, with additional courses based upon the candidate’s area of specialization.

Position Requirements: The person selected for this position must have a Ph.D. in Psychology, preferably in Social or Clinical Psychology. Advanced ABD candidates will be considered. Candidates must demonstrate excellence in teaching. The salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
