Spring 2022 Student Internship Opportunity

Spring 2022 Internship Opportunity focused on recovery support services

Join a team at the Oregon Social Learning Center working on a five-year project funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse called the JEAP Initiative, which aims to advance research on recovery support services for substance use disorder. Interns may be involved with a variety of projects depending on skills and interests, including assisting with a research study focused on justice-involved young adults, creating materials related to recovery and collaborations between researchers and community members, attending trainings, drafting website content, and more. We value lived experience and diverse perspectives, and thus there is a preferred qualification for individuals with lived experience with substance use issues or the justice system, and for applicants from underrepresented backgrounds. This internship can be conducted entirely remotely. See the internship posting or reach out to Michelle Cruz at michellec@oslc.org for more details. Application deadline: Mon, 2/14 at noon Pacific time.
